Mizuna Gardens is a biointensive market garden near Portland, Oregon, specializing in unusual and heirloom salad greens for local chefs. It's owned and farmed by Danielle Smith who is passionate about growing greens! We grow each variety to full flavor and texture the old fashioned way: lots of hands & knees work, from planting the seeds to weeding, to picking each leaf by hand. There's a world of difference between our salad mix and mass produced flavorless baby greens. As one chef put it, "It's like comparing apples to oranges."
